Tactical three gun matches usually differ in several ways from USPSA three
gun. First equipment
rules. Tactical matches usually only allow real world
holsters, no shotgun speed loaders, no compensators on shotguns or pistols,
and no optics on the shotgun. The rifle is usually allowed to have
only one optic. The tactical matches are also normally more physically
demanding with events such as low crawl, tunnels, ropes, and
running from
cover to cover. During tactical three gun matches you will also normally use
more than one of the three weapons during several courses of fire. USPSA
type three gun is fun, but if you want more physical events incorporated in
the event tactical three gun will probably fit the bill. I believe in
shooting them all..... it can't hurt....
